I am very impressed with how easy it is to set up - especially with Adaptec's EZ-SCSI software. I selected the Adaptec 1540C after hearing comments about other boards from friends and people on the notes files...Adaptec seemed to cause less problems and less complaints. I have connected a variety of peripherials (hard drives, CD, tape, scanners, etc.) to my 1540C with no problems. Bob Kushner
