The system always boots off the VGA card -- under DOS/windows I can run a program on the mono in a window, or switch to the mono being the active monitor using mode mono. I'd love to see support for multiple monitors under FreeBSD -- even f it meant just having the syslog going to the mono instead of the console.. It would be really really nice to be able to assign the mono as one of the virtual consoles so you could siwtch to that console but still have a visible console on the vga monitor, and just be switching where the keyboard input went. Alternatively, it would be nice to still be able to access a text console while playing with X settings! ;).
