Yes,  I have FreeBSD 2.0.5R setup on my second IDE drive.  The key is
to tell the FreeBSD installation routine (fdisk) not to mess with the
master-boot-record.  After FreeBSD's installation, the FreeBSD
partition will appear as a primary partition to OS/2's boot manager.
All you need to do to is FDISK from OS/2 and add the FreeBSD partition
to the boot manager menu.

I'm not sure if this works with earlier versions of FBSD or NetBSD.
