Yes, FreeBSD (1.1.5.1 at least) can/could. I set up my partitions on D: drive
and then installed os-bs on BOTH the C: & D: drive. When it booted it asked
for something like:

	F1:	dos
F2:	FreeBSD or D: Drive or something.

If I pressed F2 it then got the mbr from D: drive and gave me a

	F1:	FreeBSD

prompt as the only option, since only thing on D: was FreeBSD
