I haven't seen this, but there is another rsh problem that I have
discovered. I log into my machine as "house" to start X, and my
 .xinitrc file does

	rsh localhost -l paigen xterm....
	rsh localhost -l wife xterm....

The first one has the environment variable LOGNAME set to "wife".
So does the second. This plays havoc with many programs.

Has anybody seen this one?
