Look at VM for FSF Emacs 19, included with XEmacs 19.12. It threads quite nicely, using both subject line and messageids. You can also use the recent GNUS rewrite to read mail with a newsgroup interface. (ding) GNUS currently runs under FSF emacs 19 and XEmacs 19.12 with a few patches. -- Robert
