Help,

whenever a user runs passwd to change there password they go through the 
process but at the end it says something along the lines of:

passwd: updating passwd database
passwd: changes made elsewhere, no changes made

I think this is something to do with passwd attempting to do kerberos 
authentications . I tried passwd -l but this switch is seeminlgy unsupported.
