Firstly, this isn't a script, unless you've got a very smart command interpreter that understands "# copy new kernel to /, and boot off it" and does the right thing. Secondly, the instructions are well out of date - the latest ones are to be found on ftp://charon.amdahl.com/pub/agc/NetBSD-1.0-to-1.0a-instructions Thirdly, if you're following -current, get hitched up to the current-users mailing list - to do this, send a message to "majordomo@mail.netbsd.org" with a body part of "subscribe current-users". If you don't read the articles on the mailing list, then you'll miss important information, like how to compile -current and get it to run, or like what parts of the instructions you posted were out of date. (e.g. If you try to build a -current system with sources from May or later with these instructions, you'll end up with binaries that will dump core every time they're run, due to changes in the rtld. Further changes have taken place since then). Fourthly, there are binary snapshots for the i386 port (and others) from May 15th 1995, so why do you want to do a source upgrade?
