Hi,

I've got a fixed line between two FreeBSD machines, and wonder how
to configure this setup.
The questions I have are:
1. I have to set up the modem connection by typing 'at&l1a' at one
end and 'atl1d' at the other. After that there's a connection,
and a PPP daemon can be starten at both ends.
How do I let this be done automatically ?
2. When one end reboots, the connection is gone. The end which reboots
will start the startup sequence again to set the connection up
again, but how will the other know it's time to fire up a
connect script for reconnecting the modems ?

Regards,

- Rob.
