In the days before Internet service providers, I was provided a UUCP newsfeed for free, but a UUCP mail connection was available for a modest fee. At the time, I did not buy the mail connectivity, and had only newsgroup access. Even now, the UUCP newsfeed is still free, but I get additional access through my employer. -- Bruce Peterson - peterson@cyberoptics.com
