Hmm, did you use the space bar to mark your new choice?  It worked for
me.

It's an error somewhere in the console handling (the console is
redirected to /dev/ttyv1).  Anyway, if you hit (almost) any key, it
will magically reboot even if you haven't read to hit a key. :)
