For some reason, when one of my servers reboots, it starts up mountd but I can't mount anything. If I send a sighup to mountd on the server (to make it re-read the /etc/exports file) things start working again, even though I've not touched the file since reboot. Any thoughts on this? cjs -- Curt Sampson curt@portal.ca Retrogrouch n. a person who spurns Internet Portal Services, Ltd. clipless pedals, and is still dubious Vancouver, BC (604) 257-9400 about whether indexed shifting is a Info at http://www.portal.ca/ really good idea.
