The DEC PMAX port is coming along very nicely, thank you. You might need to port some drivers for your machine, however. I have an Olivetti M700-10 which is a Mips 4000 processor based system and would like to install a BSD based unix. There is the beginnings of a Linux port (it now mounts /root) and it would be nice if there were a NetBSD port as well. The DEC PMAX port is a fully functional NetBSD port. I know everyone is very busy, but if (with my limited very knowledge of mips) I could be of any assistance I would certainly offer it... You should write to port-pmax@NetBSD.org. If you want to subscribe yourself to that list, send an email with just "subscribe port-pmax" (no quotes) in the body to majordomo@NetBSD.org. -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Michael L.
