I am looking for a reasonably priced (or free) database for FreeBSD.
I would prefer SQL, but it doesn't have to be. It is going to be used with
a web server and called by scripts.

From all the comments I have read WAIS and other simmilar databases
are mostly to index pages and not all that flexible. Is that correct?
