Lines: 13 Message-ID: <3tovot$re2@ns1.hk.linkage.net> NNTP-Posting-Host: wyvern.hk.linkage.net X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] I am trying to install FreeBSD 2.0.5-R to a ASUS P5-100Mhz with Adaptec 2940 SCSI card and an NE2000 clone card and 16MB RAM. I downloaded the boot disk and enter into the setup manual. I used the FTP method to install the system. However, after getting certain percentage of the Bin Dist installed, the system halt and kernel panic mesg pop up. The system reports 'Page fault' and 'Supervisor reading, page not present' I have also tried installing many times with both 2.0.5-R and 950622-SNAP. But the same problem arises. Could anyone give me a hand?
