When booting, the system detects the cdrom player( I manually specified the irq & address), but when I try to mount the device, I get a kernel panic. As far as I can tell, the system doesn't give any cdrom specific error messages, just a page fault. Building a new kernel didn't solve the problem. Does anybody has a clue how to solve this problem? Thanks.
