Hi'yall
My FreeBSD machine is lacking a diskdrive (for a reason which is too long to
explain). Anyhow, I've got a serial port which I connect to my laptop via a
null cable. Now I've got some networking utilities for dos which I use to
transfer files to and from the BSD machine, but if I use them I have to reboot
my machine every time. Is there a quick way to connect my dos machine to the
freebsd machine via slip? Or is there any way I can log into the freebsd
machine over the serial port. I've entered terminal programs, while the otehr
machine is running freebsd but I've had no luck so far getting a login prompt.
Anyhow, any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanx
