Performance? : Quantum Seems to be quite expensive for the class of : drive it is. I think you may have just been unlucky. The 31200N has worked fine for all the folks I know that have them. Also, if you plan on having more than one drive on the SCSI bus, you might want to steer clear of the Fujitsu. My experience has shown that it is somewhat finicky about termination when you attach other drives on the bus (in my case it was several Seagate Barracuda 2.1g drives).
