It seems to take forever to get a session going but, once the session is established the performance seems normal. However, I am using CERN 3.0 and the performance is very bad, seems to be same situation in that once the session is established, the pages come up quick. This problem has just arisen in the last week and I have not added any processes. I have, unfortunatly fiddled with the configuration (restored old files, no help) and I replaced the net card (SMC 3216T ULTRA) just in case (again no help). Any ideas where to look? I am very new to BSD (and UNIX in general). Thanks in advance. Bob McDuffee Network Services Manager, WICHE Office:303.541.0299 Fax:303.541.0291 eMail:mcduffee@sierra.wiche.edu
