Did you copied the dist set (eg bin) into dist dir (eg c:\freebsd\bin) ?  I had
use the 950622 SNAP to install without any problem.  I had tiried to install
using floppies and dos hard disk successfully.  Would you mind to state
precisely what is the problem you had encountered.

After following the instructions for installing from a DOS partition and
partitoning my disk with FIPS the install utility on the boot floppy states
that it cannot find the necessary files selected for installation.  I placed
the files in C:\freebsd.  I also have a 1.2G harddrive and my bios does have
>1G support enabled.
