I do have a few questions regarding the BT946C and FreeBSD 2.0.5 (from the CD-ROM): 1. The BusLogic accesses my SCSI devices in asynchronous SCSI. I glanced through the bt driver code, and see that the driver thinks my card is not capable of synchronous mode. Not true, in fact every device on my SCSI BUS runs synchronous under DOS: Quantum XP32150, Conner CFP1060S, HP35480a, and Plextor 4Plex. What can I do to make FreeBSD access my devices synchronously? 2. Is there any way to map the BT946C to use PCI resources only? I've got lots of junk cluttering up my ISA I/O ports, and I'd like to keep 0x330 and 0x334 free. Thanks to all, Tony -- * * Be a non-conformist like me and don't use a .sig at all. *
