You should be able to use xf86config (or something like that, grep for *conf* in you X11 bin dir) to generate your config file. Once you find the config stuff check the manpages out. Try 'startx' (there are so many different ways X and a window manager could be started that sorry I could'nt be more precise). Maybe try 'openwin' too. Chris
