I had the same problem. I fixed it by copying the kernel from another system that had it, I tar and feathered the kernel and ftp'ed it. If you want mine I can put it on your system, I have a freebsd 2.0.5 system, so there should not be a problem! -jack ross jdross@gomail.sjcpl.lib.in.us On 10 Jul 1995, Brian Somers wrote: > J Wunsch (j@bonnie.heep.sax.de) wrote: > : Rostyslav Cisyk <rcisyk@bnr.ca> wrote: > > : >I've just upgraded to FreeBSD 2.0.5-950622-SNAP and the pppd (which > : >always used to work fine) exits immediately with the following message: > : > > : >Sorry - PPP is not available on this system. > > : FreeBSD 2.0.5 or later doesn't come with a ppp interface pre- > : configured (due to space constraints of the boot floppy).
