I tried to compile the kernel for 2 drives, and X but I kept getting compile errors. I used the patch.tar.Z and that seemed to have most of the errors. My system configuration 386-40 w/387-40 Tseng et4000 graphics card. (1meg) 4 serial 2 printer ports Microsoft, or Mouse Systems Serial Mouse. 2 IDE hard Drives 130, 20 meg 4meg ram. EMC 1024x768 monitor. I would probably be able to compile things easier if there were docs for people who were not gurus. I've been using UNIX and X for a year now and would like to have UNIX at home so that I can start to learn more without the restrictions at school. I plan to usr the other 20 megs as swap space since I don't have much ram. Also when I tried to run X the system stopped. No messages, no nothing. Not even a screen mode change. bmyers@rucs2.sunlab.cs.runet.edu Brandon Myers
