I suppose it is time to RT*M ! There's an option you can set in your .fvwmrc file for the percentage of the screen to scroll when you hit the edge. I can't remember it offhand, check the fvwm manpage. Personally, I think page by page scrolling is better. The method used to simulate the scrolling effect is rather slow. -- Joel N.
