The Compaq Prolinea and Compaq Prosignia use PCI chip sets, which are recognized as using PCI configuration mechanism 2, when they in fact support config mechanism 1. I have fixed this in FreeBSD-current, and the upcoming SNAP release will contain the correct probe code, too. Send mail, if you need further details or need to build a 2.0.5R kernel with support for these Compaq systems.
