Also, /usr/share/FAQ is your friend. There you will find a FreeBSD FAQ and a BSD FAQ. man and apropos is your friend too. You MUST run out and buy _Unix System Administration Handbook_, second edition by Evi Nemeth. The Red one, not the Yellow one. It will cost you $50. It will save you an order of magnitude more grief than that and it comes with a CDROM full of stuff you want anyway. I balked at the price. I looked at shelfs full of cheaper and more expensive books that do not have a fraction of the useful information in them than you will find in this book.
