This group is oriented toward the freely available Unixes (primarily Linux, FreeBSD, or NetBSD) and anyone with interest in these operating systems is invited to attend. (The BSD's are currently under-represented!) We will meet in the computer science conference room, room 141, which is near the NW corner of the Farris building. The building's main entrance is on the East side of the building and is usually open. If it is not, the entrance on the North side of the building will be open. Directions to the Farris Engineering Center: The Farris Engineering Center is a three story building located near the Central Ave. and University Blvd. intersection. It is directly East of the Mechanical Engineering building which is the closest building going NE from the Central/University intersection. | <- University Blvd. | | | <- Redondo Rd. | | | | ---+---| <- Grand Ave. | | UNM Mail Campus | | | | +-------+ | | +-----+ | Farris| | | |Mech.|_ | Eng. | | | |Bldg | | Ctr. | Parking | | +-------+ +-------+ | +-------------------------------------------------------------+--- | Redondo Rd. | | | | | ---+-----------------------------------------------------------------+--- | Central Ave. | | | | Yale -> | | <- University Blvd. | Parking: There are parking spots along Redondo Rd (immediately south of the Farris Engineering Center and north of Central Ave.) and in a lot about 100 yards East of the Farris building.
