Same question, HP-LJ 2 (not postscript).
The problem I have is the printer is only spews blank pages at me.
Same thing if I use a dot-matrix (Panasonic 11-24).
There was a thread on this a while back that I searched, but
the only "solution" seemed to mention something called "apsfilter"
but no explanation of why I need a filter to print straight text.
I'm using 2.0.5R, one LPT port, standard printcap file.
Any ideas?
