Most PC systems that can run DOS cannot boot any type of OS from any other drive other than the first drive. You have have a few solutions open to you. I would recommend that you create a 10MB BSDI root partition on your first disk. You can then put the '/usr' filesystem and other stuff on your second disk. : Could someone help me, please. Or maybe someone could tell me how to create a boot : floppy to boot to the second drive. A boot floppy is a pain. But you can modify the first BSDI install disk to point to a different boot partition. Do a 'man boot' and there are instructions. : Wojtek -- ---------------------------------------------------- Mark Zander mark.zander@sheridanc.on.ca Technical Support Sheridan College (905) 845-9430 ext. 2166 1430 Trafalger Rd (905) 815-4011 fax.
