Never bothered to install XFree apart from the necessary stuff. :-) And Xaccel works like a charm. And _fast_! Before that I ran it on 2.0 ... never had any crash. And even before that I ran 1.2B1 on BSD/OS 2.0 ... worked great too. I switched from BSD/OS to FreeBSD because of the totally screwed shared lib concept of BSD/OS 2.0. That - and a number of other points are the reason that Xaccel for BSD/OS _won't_ run on a FreeBSD machine. And BTW: On all three platforms I ran Motif 2.0 :-) It isn't supported by Xinside yet afaik, but I think they ship it with the server as soon as 1.2 comes out. Works wonderful (need I say that? :-) JKH> AFAIK, the media from X-inside contains the BSDI/FreeBSD/NetBSD and Linux JKH> binaries all on the same install media. Hey Thomas, do you read me? I think it's your turn now! :-) -Walter -- Walter Hafner_____________________________ hafner@forwiss.tu-muenchen.de FORWISS Muenchen, FG Kognitive Systeme, Raum O-134, Tel: 089/48095-220 So here I am, not being entertained!
