	Most likely, the file containing the checksum values is corrupt.  Try
downloading that again instead -- it'll probably clear up your problem.

	The other possibility is the new files are rewritten to bad sectors
on you disk.  If you dont:

	mv etc01.71 etc01.71.bad
	mv bin01.46 bin01.46.bad

Then you will never take those sectors out of circulation (this should be
done with bad144 at a later time).
