I wont go into a : diatribe here. Just compare setting up two simple : applications (forgetting all the nasty kernel configuration) : compare setting up Eudora Mail on Windows with /etc/sendmail.cf : on UNIX!!!! You're comparing apples and oranges here. Eudora is a user application. Sendmail is a mail transport agent, not a user application. Sendmail does *many* things that Eudora was never intended to do; that no mail user application is intended to do. There are a number of Eudora-like applications (including Eudora itself) for Unix, if you want to make such a comparison. I'll agree that Unix user applications tend to be a little tricky to install, but if we're going to compare difficulty levels, let's stick to packages that are comparable. -- Carl Harris EXECUTIVE Scapegoat (and Systems Engineer) Department of Computer Science, Virginia Tech ceharris@cs.vt.edu
