Is there a maximum number of pty's under BSD 2.0? I know I can make
256 through MAKEDEV (after a line modification to the script)

# MAKEDEV pty4 pty5 pty6 pty7 pty8 pty9 pty10 pty11 pty12 pty13 pty14 pty15

But can I make more? If so what would they be called? This is also assuming
I change the 'pseudo-device pty' line on the kernel config file.
