I know everyone has a lot of problems out there but can anyone tell me
what the following message may mean, which appears on the system
console...

newton kernel: used 0 on /tmp: file system full
new last message repeated 3 times

now i've run df which shows that the usage is as follows

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity
Mounted on
/dev/sd0a 11775 3084 8102 28%
/
/dev/sd0h 1973694 246739 1628270 13% /usr
/dev/sd1a 371524 371524 0 100% /cdrom
mfs:16 7679 3 7292 0% /tmp

looks like the diskspace should be ok.
