A 1GB SCSI costs more like $500. Not True, have you checked out www.internet.net lately? Its the internet shopping network and they have GREAT Hard drive prices. I just picked up an EIDE 1.26 Gbyte hard drive, 256k cache, PIO mode 3, and <12ms access time... its fast! The measurements are about 3.5"x6"x1" ... neither "big or shoddy" IMHO! The drive was under $300, they also have great SCSIs for a little over $300. >So, yeh. 1GB isn't really that big, and I'd say the stock 400MB IDE drive >you get in the $2000 PC would be more than ample so why spend the extra bucks >for a drive that's going to be empty anyway? Because its probably not even a noticible difference in price if you get a good deal on the Gig drive! >-- >Peter da Silva (NIC: PJD2) `-_-' >Network Management Technology Incorporated 'U` >1601 Industrial Blvd. Sugar Land, TX 77478 USA >+1 713 274 5180 "Har du kramat din varg idag?"
