The version of rdist distributed with FreeBSD 2.0.5 is
an older version before the rdist team split rdist into
two pieces, rdist and rdistd. The sysadmin team at my
site is running a version after the split, so I find that
I must run an rdist later than what comes in the 2.0.5 distribution.
I got the latest rdist version from usc, and as distributed
it is not supported on FreeBSD 2.05-Release. So, before
I go reinventing the wheel, has anyone out there ported
rdist to FreeBSD 2.0.5-Release? If you are in process, could
I join you rather than working all on my own?

Thanks,
