Somehow I found that there is an ANSI C compiler lcc by C.W.Fraser &
D.R.Hanson. They claim that their compiler is smaller and faster than
GNU C.

It is found in ftp://ftp.cs.princeton.edu/pub/lcc

Did anybody consider to port this to an 386bsd based system, preferrably
FreeBSD-2.x? To be sure that I am not redoing work already done.
