I know that 2.1.0 is available now, but I'm not sure how to update my machine - both the kernel with the new sources and the updates to the base operating system. I see mention of sup, but no specifics or sample control files the man page for sup mentions running it once a day from cron, but again I see no samples. the next question is about X. I'm running it with a Mach64 with 2 megs of RAM. it works fine - however, I'm not able to view with more than 64 colors. My video board supports more than this. next, about the console driver - I turned off the SCO "like" console which was enabled as the default - and enabled the vt220 console driver but the arrow keys and backspace keys are not working. it there any reason that I should use the vt220 console driver verses the vt220? thanks in advance -- larry -- larry snyder larry@rn.com
