I'm just finishing the port of xperfmon++v1.1 (patchlevel1) for FreeBSD-2.X. This X11 utility displays in several graphs the load of the system like: user-, system-, idle-cpu, free mem, disk io, network packets, and NFS-io The files in the incoming directory are: - xperfmon11pl1.tar.gz: The tared /usr/port directory Due to V1.1 I remove a memory leak in bsd_systems.c and fix (not very clean with a hack) the -geometry option bug. There are still some strange side effects during resize. If someone is more familar in X11 programing than I it would be nice he/she take a look in xperfmon.c (for my patches search for LK!!!) and implement a clean -geometry handling. The original author rsmith@proteus.arc.nasa.gov is not able to spend some time on xperfmon in the next months cause he's to busy. Perhaps a member of the core-team can check this and tell me if it works and how to proceed. Thanks and have fun with xperfmon++v1.1pl1 Lars -- ______________________________________________________________________________ Lars Köller E-Mail: University of Rostock (Germany) lars.koeller@odie.physik2.Uni-Rostock.DE Fachbereich Physik Universitätsplatz 3 Phone: +49 381/498-1665 or 498-1648 18051 Rostock Fax: +49 381/498-1667 From owner-freebsd-questions@freefall.FreeBSD.org Thu Aug 17 11:13:37 1995 Received: from freefall.FreeBSD.org (freefall.FreeBSD.org [192.216.222.4]) by odie.physik2.uni-rostock.de (8.6.11/8.6.9) with ESMTP id LAA13586 for <uphya001@odie.physik2.uni-rostock.de>; Thu, 17 Aug 1995 11:13:02 +0200 Received: from localhost (daemon@localhost) by freefall.FreeBSD.org (8.6.11/8.6.6) with SMTP id BAA29582 ; Thu, 17 Aug 1995 01:59:46 -0700 Received: (from majordom@localhost) by freefall.FreeBSD.org (8.6.11/8.6.6) id BAA29566 for questions-outgoing; Thu, 17 Aug 1995 01:59:38 -0700 Received: from odie.physik2.uni-rostock.de (odie.physik2.uni-rostock.de [139.30.40.28]) by freefall.FreeBSD.org (8.6.11/8.6.6) with ESMTP id BAA29554 for <freebsd-questions@freefall.FreeBSD.org>; Thu, 17 Aug 1995 01:59:15 -0700 Received: (from uphya001@localhost) by odie.physik2.uni-rostock.de (8.6.11/8.6.9) id KAA13553 for freebsd-questions@freefall.cdrom.com; Thu, 17 Aug 1995 10:58:34 +0200 Date: Thu, 17 Aug 1995 10:58:34 +0200 From: Lars koeller <uphya001@odie.physik2.uni-rostock.de> Message-Id: <199508170858.KAA13553@odie.physik2.uni-rostock.de> X-Face: nLQGe[[K51[{{[C\,BiQm[7]u1<r*biUsbPfYvu!Ee"NMw+TUPr`[d`9M2Z@?K79e,e0hGO fWn;9\[H~N.vTWNY>m{N>_\%nLBo4t@)CoZ}hK[W7DwX&V=}Wf#Qb,j:Jpj[(12r=b~:dYmh]fDf\, ]_frt6e<dI[U8(?zxR|UKs(CXNU>M<fA||Pim|ljOlWpT$FEK#{iPI$ZdS}V6cx}nyDe"<hSP#6<y3 3$gO:t{F7o,tYE=4a$ZTF+%7w=UFjMsWObjlS`z9^8$*rOb<rlN{lusO'Ys To: freebsd-questions@freefall.FreeBSD.org Subject: Midnight comander in color_xterm Sender: questions-owner@FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Status: RO Hi! Does anyboady runs mc (midnight comander) in an color_xterm successful under 2.0.5R. I try version 2.1 and 2.4.99 but when I set TERM=xterm-color or try to use slang lib mc dumps core. Also mxc a X11 based version starts, but no window appears!
