If so, how do I set them up and access them ? Do I have to configure a kernel for them (I did manage to make a new kernel). How do I access my modem for dial out ? It is on com1 and I tried to talk to it with cu : cu -l /dev/tty01 . Under Linux, I can use cu -l /dev/ttyS1 and use this to dial out, although I actually use minicom. Cu gave me a read/write error on NetBSD. The INSTALL document for NetBSD 1.0 says there are 2 FORTRAN compilers, but the comp10 package (compilers) only has gnu c and c++ are there FORTRAN compilers, or do I have to get gnu f2c or the g77 ALPHA , like I have for Linux ? Any response is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dirk dkleinh@isotope.ps.uci.edu
