In-Reply-To: lma@dayton.Stanford.EDU's message of 11 Sep 92 04:55:06 GMT Message-ID: <VIXIE.92Sep11140943@cognition.pa.dec.com> Sender: news@PA.dec.com (News) Organization: DEC Network Software Lab References: <lma.716187306@dayton.Stanford.EDU> Date: 11 Sep 92 14:09:43 Lines: 10 Your best bet is to just install 4.3bsd-reno. I have (thanks to some other guys involved in the 4.4bsd->VAX port) a 4.3-reno kernel with a mostly-4.4bsd top half, and I have been using this to port the bottom half. Neither kernel is as stable as 4.3-reno was. And at this point it's looking like it's not going to be done by the time 4.4 ships. -- Paul Vixie, DEC Network Systems Lab Palo Alto, California, USA "Don't be a rebel, or a conformist; <vixie@pa.dec.com> decwrl!vixie they're the same thing, anyway.
