... but i think the "clean" XFree86 binary tree should also be available -
because not all FreeBSD users are "Windoze-nized" and have their own .fvwmrc
and thus don't need the overhead you may get from all that - but this as an
_option_ is a good idea i think

one point for my switch from linux to FreeBSD was it's relatively clear
filesystemheirarchy - a _real_ /usr/local not that /usr/bin & /usr/local mix
from for instance slackware which made it very hard to maintain the same local
binaries for different platforms (here /usr/local ther /usr etc.) - thus i
think the basic tree should stay relatively small and "clean" in this way -
such a setup as package i _may_ install is ok

by the way - i think it would be a good idea to rethink the placement of all
the X-ports-binaries - i think all stuff not directly related to the basic
distribution (for instance fvwm etc.) belongs more into /usr/local than into
/usr/X11R6 - because this way it is much easier to upgrade XFree86 - maybe
someone else have another opinion
