Please Cc: responses to the following questions to crs@lanl.gov because I can't always keep up with the news group. Thanks. Speaking of NFS install... Should I be able to do that with a CDROM drive on a Sun? That is to say, I have a small network of Suns, one of which has Sun's CDROM drive. Should I be able to connect a PC to that ethernet and install FreeBSD from that CDROM drive? For that matter, should I be able to do anything with the contents of the CDROM (Walnut Creek) from that drive irrespective of the answer to the previous question? E.g. should I be able to read the FAQs by mounting the CDROM on the Sun? Transfer the stuff to the boot floppy or boot the PC off the CDROM or something like that? Etc. Thanks for any help, suggestions, etc. -- Best, Charlie "Older than dirt" Sorsby "I'm the NRA!" crs@lanl.gov
