None of those things will work, but without more information on which
release of FreeBSD you're running I can't really help you.

People:  In such messages, please include any information you might
think is relevant!  At the *minimum* this is the version of FreeBSD
you're running, since there are multiple ones, and if it's some sort
of hardware problem or configuration weirdness then full details on
your system configuration are also very useful.
