When you say ``Linux is Posix'', are you trying to imply that *BSD is not? Or have you just bought into the mistaken idea that many Linux qusers seem to have that *BSD is not interested in conforming to standards? As far as I know, neither Linux or *BSD have passed a POSIX conformance test. So strictly speaking, Linux is not POSIX. --jtc
