Hello,

Can anyone help me using 8bit chars under freebsd. I´m
connecting through telnet and i have to use icelandic characters on
freebsd, the telnet client is not the problem i can use icelandic
characters on HP-UX and by setting LANG to is_IS.ISO8859-1 icelandic
characters work under bash but not with uemacs, csh or any other program.
When typing icelandic characters it's like uemacs cuts the 8th bit off
like EIGHT_BIT_CHARACTERS is not set on in Irc.

	Any help is appreciated....
