I also have several fixed frequency monitors that I do not have specs for. One type is from and old Daisy ecad system and has resolution of 1024 or so by 852. The other type is from a DEC VasXtation II GPX ( the monitor model number i VR290-DA )). The first has 4 bnc in, while the DEC only has 3 (sync on G). I would also like any info on how to get the DEC to work with an older SUN framebuffer. Has anyone got one of these working with X on a PC-class machine running UNIX? Any hints or more detailed tech info would be appreciated. For someone nearby who can solve the problem I can definitely give you one of the Daisy monitors (I have two). I would have to pull some strings to give away one DEC and have the other for myself, however. I also have a big Eagle disk that needs a good home.(not sure if it works, it's also from the Daisies, it used to work) -- -- ___________________ R.Stewart(Stew) Ellis, Assoc.Prof., (Off)313-762-9765 / _____ ______ Humanities & Social Science, GMI Eng.& Mgmt.
