    NCR53c810 SCSI-2 controllers are advertised at $80 each, if you
have a motherboard that supports them (I believe all the recent ASUS
PCI boards do).  Very fast, very reliable controllers.  I've got four
of them here (not all in one machine, unfortunately ;-)).
