Organization: SeeWare Software Message-ID: <DDntG4.8x@seeware.DIALix.oz.au> Date: Mon, 21 Aug 1995 12:02:28 GMT Lines: 22 Hi! I am using FreeBSD 2.0.5R and have a question regarding the floppy tape driver. I have tried to use the ft program to drive the tape and have managed to write and read to the tape. (Except I did manage to get a strange lockup in the ft driver which I couldn't kill even with kill -KILL, the tape just went back and forwards... this seems to be the problem described in the FAQ but the version of ft.c in current is the same as in 2.0.5 isn't it??) My question is: Is it possible for me to put multiple archives on a single tape? ie store a number of small tar files for example?? If so how do I do this? I would like to be able to store multiple dumps on the one tape.
